Bonnie & Jack Ellis

We were married in 1959 as I was finishing RN training and Jack had a year left in the Navy. We lived in VA for that year where our son, Doug, was born. Jack went into retail and we moved to Orlando, FL where our daughter, Terri, was born. We moved frequently; to Mt. Dora/Eustis FL, Quincy FL (near Tallahassee), Pensacola FL, Houston TX, Fort Lauderdale FL. and back to Orlando (where or kids graduated from High School), Sarasota FL, North Port FL, Brandon FL (near Tampa), and now to Jacksonville where we have been since 1989 and will remain (HOORAY). Terri married a career Navy man and had a daughter and son. They are both married and their daughter has 2 little girls. Doug married after law school and has a daughter and son in college. Jack had a serious viral infection of the heart in 1994 and was out of work for nearly three years. He has done marvelously well for someone given a 1:1,000 chance of survival! We retired in 2000 (Jack) and 2001 (Me) and enjoy camping and traveling with our travel trailer. We have a great time - love retirement!
